I am in day 3 of the Nevro trial i have tried all 3 programs at 10khz so far no luck with my leg pain. I have burning, cramping, pins and needles in my rt leg. it has seemed to help my low back pain. I have seen many drs and each has a different diagnosis. Meralgia Parastetica, lumbar compression, transverse myelitis. The nevro rep plans to reprogram tomorrow to the lower frequency of 1200hz. has anyone had a similar experience? thank you in advance.

I must be in my 19th month after having a Nevro Senza implanted.
It would be fair to say that in hindsight, I shouldn't have progressed onto the permanent device after my trial. Like you, during my trial, I experienced the classic neuropathic signs that you describe. For me, these symptoms were already present, but soon after the trial leads were implanted, the symptoms were grossly magnified. The Nevro rep was extremely helpful (so I thought at the time anyway) and reprogrammed the device several times, and there was eventually some relief at the end of the trial, but I now think that the relief that I felt was actually a reduction of the discomfort brought about by the device.
I was labelled as 'hypersensitive' to the device and it was suggested that over time, this would settle.
The point I suppose to my reply is this: be absolutely certain that this will enhance your condition. I honestly believe that I was seduced by the extremely positive case studies that can be seen in the literature and company social media pages. I was so desperate to regain a pain free, unhindered mobility life, being able to play sports and do the job that I was trained to do, and not to be a burden on my family, employer and the health system that I pushed ahead and said to myself that over time this would eventually help me. I can't say whether I'm any better for having the device, but on the occasions that the stimulator battery has died, I honestly haven't noticed the difference.
Everyone's experience will be different but just remember - there still are 20% out there for who this therapy doesn't help.
