new blister after 7days of acyclovir

Hi Guys.

I have just been diagnosed with genital herpes and started with acyclovir 2x/day for 7days. I finished completely the acyclovir last sunday and today wed, i noticed that there 2 new blisters showing on the penis. Any ideas on how to make the blister intact and not erupt? Thank you.

To be honest it will probably burst, but this is their way of healing, you just need to make sure to keep it clean. If you have a new outbreak and get medication it will clear it up quicker. To be honest if you keep getting new ones it sounds like you need to take a 3 month course of suppressants

Not sure that you can if it's definitely a blister and not just a bump.

If this is your first outbreak, it's normal to get a second crop of lesions around a week into the outbreak. That's probably what this is. No need to take suppressive meds for 3 months just for that.

Hey there. THank you for ur reply. I actually noticed that the bump/blister (not sure) is very tiny. Another one i noticed this morning. i tried to put some cold compress during the day. the other 2 are still intact.

Thank you again for ur reply smile

No buy that's not what I suggested is it? I said if he keeps getting them to think about suppressants, not just if it's his second time
