New breast pain

Hi Ladies,

Do any of you randomly get new breast pains?

I had a mammogram in February which was clear and compared to a previous one and no changes noted.

Yesterday without warning i brushed my right nipple and it really hurt, now it hurts inside my nipple and all down the outer side but only when pressed or touched!!

I cant feel anything unusual so could this just be yet another symptom of perimenopause

I'm so fed up

    omg! Me too! I've had the exact symptoms for 3 weeks now! I've had 2 breast appointments 2 years ago and all fine apart from lumps in armpit and fibrodermas. But its my breast that doesn't have these lumps!

    So basically I had this really burning pain in my left breast and in the middle it really hurt! The last 2 weeks was awful to the point I've bought bralettes and trying them on in the changing rooms was painful.

    When I sleep I can feel the breast tissue burning and stabbing sensation. Its calmed down but still there no as bad. Night time I take my bralette off and it feels sensitive. For the first time my period had been late! No period apart from light brown discharge on and off! I've got a scan to check my ovaries etc!

    But the breast pain has been so miserable 😫

      Hi Sandeepo,

      It's making me so miserable everytime i touch it it feels like I'm being stabbed with tiny knives. Fell down a complete DR Google rabbit hole and went to the toilet at work about 50 times to prod and poke.

      18 months ago I was a sane woman now at best I'm a hormonal mess!

      Do you fond anything that helps? I hope I will just wake up one morning and the pain will be gone although probably replaced by something equalling as miserable.

      sending you hugs....yes I'm putting a hot water bottle on it in the evening and in the morning when I shower put the shower head on it and I feel set for the day. heat has really helped.

      I hate night times and waking up is the worst as its burning and feels so swollen inside....exactly what is next.

      There is always a new or old symptom every week! when one goes another one comes!!!!

      Now no period or late? is this why my boob is burning! I don't know what to think anymore. My Dr must be so fed up with me as she can only deal with one issue at a time.

      Try not to Prod it as it could be fluid build up so just relax. How do you find it when you wear a bra?

      I've completely stopped wearing one since last week and feel less sore

    i get this every month in both boobs, its agony, breast centre said estrogen causes it xx
