Hi,
You haven't been waiting that long to be totally honest. The waiting times are actually increasing so i heard. Don't worry when there's a free appointment time they'll contact you by letter.

Hi Sarah,
If your assessment date and time is not convenient or it's too far to travel then you can ring them and change it to somewhere closer to home. All first appointments are computer generated so mostly they give you an appointment that's far from home. You can only change the date/time once so please choose wisely. Take only copies of your evidence not originals., take a printed list of your current medication and and other evidence you haven't already sent. Good luck.
