I would say go for it. in my experience sertraline was quite evil and had a lot of side effects where as Citalopram has been quite mild.

Hello, i had a really tough time on Sertraline side effects were that brutal i was terrified to starting something new. Ive been on 10mg of Cit for just over 4 weeks now. I had some nausea and interrupted sleep at first but side effects were much milder than the Sertraline and have now largely subsided. Hope this helps..good luck

I'M opposite way round. Swapped from citaopram to sertraline. Citalopram made me nauseous and made my hair fall out. I stopped meds for week then started sertraline didn'T seem too bad swapping.Took citalopram for 8 weeks but didnt help. Did you find sertraline helped?

Why did you change to citalopram just out of interest? My main problem is anxiety think citalopram meant be good for depression. Probably would have stayed on it but couldn't cope with the hair loss, thankfully now growing back!

hi lemanna how are you finding the sertraline? is it working?

HI tamsin not noticing lot difference yet seem less side effects than citalopram. Got hit by really bad depression last week but lowered dose slightly and improved just horrible anxiety still. Switching meds and being in zopiclone withdrawal probably doesn'T help. All bit trial and error getting dose right. H ow are you?
