New ENT suggesting surgery

Hi everyone,

I’ve wrote before aboout my dismissive ENT .

On Wednesday, I saw a new one . He examined my nose and said the my upper deviated septum is what’s causing my facial pain and one side headaches .

He didn’t say anything new , just changed my nasal steroid spray for allergies and suggested surgery.

What actually put me off is the fact that when he was checking my nose , he asked me if I ever had a nose injury (I didn’t) the bones on the bridge of my nose are prominent (I know duh) then he was like “you have simple features and your body is petite , you can have a septoplasty along with a rhinoplasty “ I’ve never felt this angry before !

I told him that I DO NOT want to change my nose . And shortly I left his office and decided to see another one.

I was there for 3 particular things , and he pointed out something unnecessary making me feel like he is all about the $.
