Hi I've just been offered a great job all my references are brill clean police check. But omg had to have a medical report off my GP to my new employer I've been put in a group which is cluster 5 non psych . I Googled it and it not good basically got no chance of getting the job now. I'm really upset . Anyone else with mental health problems had problems trying to get employment because of your diagnosis? ?

I have found this NHS webpage on the subject which quotes regarding the Access to Medical Reports Act 1988 and Disability Act

I am not a lawyer nor an employment expert. I think that you should go to a CAB (Citizens Advice Bureau) as I think that you need to obtain expert advice on this.

So what you describe is hardly unfair. I was working in a professional role and nothing to do with childcare etc.
Personally I am amzed that you should consider that your state of mental health might have no effect on your performance in this role.
Just think all the current publicity regarding child protection.
But you have a right to see any report - as you have done - and if it is incorrect you have the right to respond to it and to get it corrected if it is wrong.
I think that you really know the answer to your own question.
As they say on Dragon's Den - I am out.

My own doctor said she feels for me and had requested a appointment with my psychiatrist ASAP. I wouldn't take the job if I thought for one minute that I'd put anyone including myself in jeopardy. My last job references are fantastic so that's proves I am capable of giving my self the best to my abilities. The trouble with mental health is you get stigmatised for life.
