i have had anxiety for years and have been on and off Celexa, i usually wean myself off cause i start feeling better. i teach special ed and back in sept i needed medicine again so i started10 mg of lexapro, had a panic attack in nov and the dr upped my dose to 20 mg of lexapro. fastward to two weeks ago and i had anxiety again and i told him i wanted to go back on celexa that day he told me to stop 20mg of lexapro and start 20 mg of celaxa and for the past two weeks i have been nauseated, tired, brain fog, just not feeling me and anxious again. like i dont want to be apart of stuff. today is day 12 and i have good day and then a bad day. i just want ti feel myself again.

    sorry to hear your struggling

    if you ve been on celexa before then you know the journey that goes with it, your brain has alot of settling to do by the sounds of things, its alot of change i would imagine to go from 20 mg lex to 20 mg celaxa.

    hang in there mate, it worked for you before & you ll have good days & bad days, enjoy the good ones when they come along

    Welcome aboard x the good days you describe are a sign of hope the meds sre working once again x there will be good days and bad ones on your journey x eventually more good ones x please remember these meds work very slow and need time x too many stories in here of people increasing doses way too often x give your dose at least 12-15 weeks to settle
