hey all so apparently im on day 6 (maybe more) of my first outbreak.
i feel like i am dying these days , and researching like crazy.
can someone explain to me a few things?
- is it normal for every day there to be new sores??
- i currently have sores in all phases, tiny bumps, blisters, ulcerated lesions, some things are ooozing and some look like they are starting to heal. is that normal? how long will i keep getting more?
-i also have a fever, sore and swollen throat with and a very bloated stomach. it was so painful to go to the bathroom.... i was crying and i think a hemmrhoid burst.
i am just so tired and want to know what i can do to make it better.
right now bactine and hemrhoid spray (with witch hazel) and epsom salt baths
i attached a pic
of the first day i starting feeling weird (Sunday) and then today

are you following any treatment plan? in the second photo i can see a healing in progress but the treatment must be suitable otherwise a weak point is created in your intimate area. alas, the virus remains latent in the body. However, the active phase of the infection can be effectively treated with antiviral drugs (aciclovir, valaciclovir or famciclovir). what is the current situation?
regards

everyones body reacts differently to herpes. what is normal for one person may not be normal for another. my first outbreak consisted of only 3 sores.
have you gotten on medication? that should stop new ones from appearing.
also joining the herpes subreddit on reddit may help you get some your concerns answered.

Hang on in there girl. I'm so sorry you are going through this. This looks like a really extreme case but as it's your initial outbreak hopefully any future ones will be much milder. Plenty baths and rest. Pour water over your vagina as you are peeing to dilute it so it doesn't hurt. some dulcolax will help soften your stools and ice packs to reduce the swelling too. Pop some oainkilllers too. Make sure to let your skin breath as much as possible. I read somewhere that they advise keeping the area as dry as possible too. You are going to be ok xx

It's also apparently normal for sores to develop at different rates. Which must be frustrating when some heal and new ones appear. I think initial outbreak can last anything up to 4 weeks from start to finish, finish being when all the sored are gone. I know things look bad right now but this is temporary and you will be ok. Here for you xx
