New here-lactose intolerance symptoms

Posted , 3 users are following.

After eating a little bit of milk chocolate the past two days, today I woke up with stomach pains, a headache and I ached all over. Anyone had similar symptoms? Any good treatments for this?

    Symptoms of lactose intolerance are non-specific and resemble the symptoms of many diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (especially irritable bowel syndrome). There are:

    diarrhea (stools have a distinctive sour smell);

    flatulence

    stomach pain

    "transferring" in the abdominal cavity

    giving away excessive amounts of gas

    colic

    nausea and vomiting (in some);

    The degree of severity of these symptoms depends mainly on the amount of lactose consumed (the higher the dose, the more severe the symptoms are), as well as the degree of lactase deficiency and the form of the food containing lactose.

    In the case of secondary lactose intolerance, therapy includes the periodic elimination of products containing milk sugar, and in infants and young children the use of lactose-free milk mixtures
