I am 13 days post-op and and the area started itching horribly last night. I just had a bowel movement today and it's itching horribly now as well. I'm confused as to why the itching is starting now. It's more uncomfortable than the pain. I've read online that itching is normal after a hemorrhoidectomy, but is it normal for it to start 2 weeks post-op? Has anyone experienced this?

i am no doctor and never done the surgery however one thing i know is that itching after 2 weeks of surgery is most likely you are healing
