Hello,

I have just started taking Orlistat on Monday, so far so good but i have 5 stone to lose so i know i have a long road ahead of me.

I have been overweight all my life and feel like I have been on a diet since i was about 12! I also suffer with depression, which leads to binge eating which in turn leads to more weight gain & more depression :-(

I am hoping that Orlistat along with Weight Watchers will lead to me reaching my goal of being fit and healthy.

I have really enjoyed reading all your posts and learning about your experiences & I look forward to sharing mine with you

Janie

    Hi 😃

i started on orlistat last week, I have been in a constant circle due to medication that I have to take so I was so pleased when my doctor said this was a good idea for me. I have been on them a week today and I've lost 7lb 😃. I'm not following a particular diet but I have done slimming world before and using a lot of my recipes from that. I have noticed a couple of times when things obviously haven't been as low fat as I thought lol but it's a learning curve and the point of the tablets as well.

So far so good, it's nice to have this forum as well, I haven't told many people I am on them, I've heard comments like "well you can eat what you like on those" I know I would get frustrated talking to people who don't understand it.

I look forward to sharing successes with you all 😀
