l have been on.7.25 zopiclone for over 14 years and l have tried to come off them but l cannot do it, l cannot switch off without them, l have tried warm drinks before bedtime, warm baths before bedtime, even soft music and reading a book, and l have had no joy just a lonely long night.

l read many articles where people are addicted to them and l can see why,

when l tried to come off them l was so frustrated and had anxiety all through not having a good night sleep, my GP as asked me if l had thought about coming off them as they can be doing other things to my body, now they tell me!!

l am addicted to zopiclone and l cannot come off them

I have been using zopiclone for almost 7 years now , my dose is 15mg per night , i find i still cannot sleep , i take this to be that my body it addicted to them now , after a long illness and lots of other medications , these are the only ones i find i cannot do without , i have tried many things and get very anxious and extremelly frustrated due to lack of sleep , i dont know what else to do , i have been down every avenue with hospitals, doctors and consultants .

How marvelous that you have managed to come off all your other medications. Not sleeping is awful, I know how you feel. I take zopiclone very occasionally as i know it is adictive. Have you gone down the alternative therapy road. You may benefit from seeing a really good alternative therapist, but maybe you have gone down this rout already.
