New mole on sole of foot

A couple of months ago I noticed a dark brown patch on the sole of my foot. I know it wasnt there before as I had a full body mole check due to another health scare last year and the dr didnt mention any moles on the bottom of my feet. Im 25, female, fair skinned and have lots of moles so I am always really careful with sun, checking moles etc. The mark is about 3mm big and looks to be one colour. I went to the doctors today and mentioned it and he confirmed it was a mole and just brushed it off. Everything on google says that moles on the foot are bad and should be checked put. Should I get a second opinion or am i overreacting?image

IMO it looks harmless. Keep an eye on it and if no change then all good. It isn't inky black, which is a positive sign. What are the rest of your moles like, are they normal or large and atypical?

thanks for your reply. I have so many ranging in sizes so its hard to answer, I do have a few which are are large, over 5/6mm, which I had checked out by the hospital last year but they said they were all normal. Again I have a few moles which look atypical, probably about 3 which have jagged edges etc, but the majority look 'normal'

basically to sum it up, if I had found this mole anywhere else on my body I wouldnt worry but the placement is scaring me. I dont have any other moles on the sole of my feet
