New onset of MS. How long does it take to restore vision from optic neuritis?

I've had optic neuritis for 2 months now. Along with that I have numbness and tingling on half of my body.  Has anyone had a similar case onset of MS?

    Hi there after high dose of steriods over three days vision settled down fairly quickly but

    Left me needing prisms in each spectacle lens to sort double vision so no eyes didn't return to normal.

      I've gotten new lenses, not prism but progressive. I still have blurriness.

      How long has it been since you were treated?

    How has your vision recovery been?  I am on my third bout with optic neuritis.  Each time my vision comes back it is never fully recovered.  Luckily all 3 times I have had it, it has been in the same eye.  I would hate for both eyes to eventually be affected.
