Has anyone in this discussion have experience with this new and quite remarkable procedure? A device is implanted then removed in five days and none of the usual negative side effects occur.

I am trying it now and on day two. OMG this is a torture device! I can not believe I am the only one in this much pain. Mild to moderate? I dont fing think so! First of all they give no pain releivers when implanting he device at my doc office. They do offer laughing gas but what a joke it does nothing. It was a lot of pain and burning putting it in and from the on constant feeling like I got to go and I mean constant with dribs and drabs ea time and sheer burning peeing shards of glass sensation. It has been going on all night long and all morning with a few hrs relief during the afternoon. I had to get adult diapers and just lie iin bed and let it go (extreme burn to the point of actualy yelling out loud) while bloody urine and clots came out and I filled at least two diapers a night. Then all morning I sat in a hot tub and just let the urine dribble out as it may for h ours with extreme burn ea time. There was blood in my urine with clots for two days. This thing is cutting into tissue or I would not be bleeding like this. I am taking tramadol which I had left over from another doctor bc they would not prescribe anything for me! If I had to do it over I would do it in a hospital under sedation for sure! I hear taking it out is even more painful so not sure how I am going to get through that other than trippling up on tramadol and valium (none of which my doctor would give me) I eman why would they want to make you go through so much torture and pain. I am on day 2.5 and still have trouble urinating. I am taking Alfusosin to help with it. I would have rather had a catheter placed for the 5 day period. This is absolute torture. I can not believe no one else is experiencing this but then again I can not find much feedback anywhere for this procedure. I noticed all the youtube promos from the company make it sound like a piece of cake but none offer any feedback on youtube - go figure. I am going to do a personal review of my own when this is out of me. I hate the deception these companies perpetrate on potential patients. This should only be done under sedation and you shoud go home with strong pain relievers! I have no idea if it is going to work or not yet. I sure hope so. I would have chosen to go ahead and do a perm laser fix if I had known it would be this horrible.

yea quite remarkable how much pain and torture you will really experience if you get this done. Quite deceptive how their bs ads with fake people make it seem like it is no big deal. I am going to report this deceptive advertising. Even the doctors wont tell you the truth of how painful it is.

Eric, I responded to your post but it doesn't look like it attached. There are just too many forums.

I am 5 days post removal and everything seems to be getting back to normal. Mine was implanted and removed in hospital surgery OR with full anesthesia. I cannot imagine doing it any other way. I also have an Rx for Percocet which barely made a dent in the pain. iTind recommends generous use of Advil and OTC pain meds which is a joke. Patients should insist on something much stronger. They won't touch the pain level experienced. I remain optimistic that things will continue to improve and I am happy with the choice over Urolift. While the doctors said there would be no need for Depends or diapers I was prepared with a pkg anyway and used them all. Good luck with your recovery.

I has PAE early last year and it did not work for me. I was told by the Dr. that the blood vessels grew back...

I am now looking at ITend.

Please tell me about your experience with the procedure. How long has it been effective for you.

    Regards

    Mitch
