New rash on my lip?

hello, i noticed some tingling in my lips 2 days ago after i put on some strong spf and was out in the sun. i noticed when i would lick my lips that it felt like there were little bumps on my top lip. i talked to a doctor online today and he said its perioral dermatitis and he gave me a ointment to put on my top lip... im kinda scared its cold sores or herpes? i havent seen perioral dermatitis actually be on the lips. can someone help? image

    Hello, any updates on this? I have something very similar. and am trying to figure out what it is. I think it might be fordyce spots or a cold sore. Honestly, I'm not sure and haven't been able to go to the doctor with everything that is going on. Let me know what your doctors have said.

    ive suffered with perioral dermatitis on my lips and it looked similar. mines looked like a red rash with bumps. do your bumps have a clear liquid inside? if they have a liquid inside then thats most likely a cold sore. ive also had cold sores so i know what they look like. i attached a photo of when i had perioral dermatitis. hope this helps.image
