New relationship..advise please!

I've recently started sating a lovely man and at some point going to have to broach the issue of LS! I've not been with anyone since i was diagnosed and though its a little worse than it was last time I'm really not sure if its going to be a problem or not!

Can i ask if anyone has been in a similar situation or can offer some advise? I think it would be wrong not to say anything beforehand and a little wrong for even considering having a relationship! False advertising!! lol!

Thank you x

hey there!!! ive had to tell people about both herpes and LS. the best advice i can give you is, Don’t make a big deal out of it. Just let them know you have a skin issue and that you’re taking care of it the best you can and this is what it means for him blah blah blah.

i have yet to have any issues with response.

Hi. I would wait till you see where this is going first before mentioning. I found myself in the same position and waited until I got to know him better. He couldnt have been more understanding ... I felt that just the basic info was needed and that its not contagious was enough. He's been great which in turn means in bed is great too. GOOD LUCK x

Thanks for that- it kind of is at that stage already or approaching it which is why i want to be prepared and tell him first!

Im sure he'll be fine- he's very kind and understanding!

      Thanks for the sound advise!

Sounds like good advice from always somethin. But why not wait until you're sure things are going in that direction? Depending on your ages he may have some issues as well.

But congratulations all the same! Just finding someone you want to go out with is an accomplishment.
