Hi,

I have had a low buzz on my left ear for about 5 days. I went to the doctor and she found nothing there so diagnosed me with tinnitus. It came out of nowhere as I have not been anywhere loud or suffered any hearing loss that I can feel. My parents are really worried for me and my dad has spend alot of time on the internet, he wants to get me the tinnitool lazer treatment but I just don't trust it. It so nice of him to want to help me so much but I don't want him wasting his money. Can anyone confirm or prove otherwise on my thoughts on tinnitool?

Hello .5 days isn't a long time to confirm that you have the ear orchestra, you

may just have an infection. The main thing to do ,is NOT to stress over it. makes

it worse.the cause could be a number of things, so just live your life and see how

you are in a week or two.

Can't help with the tinnitool. never heard of it

Hi, just wanted to know how it's going with your tinnitus.  Are you going ahead with the tinnitool as I have also seen it on the internet and was wondering if it really works.  How old are you and how did yours start ?  You said yours is a low buzz - can you hear it all day and night or does it come and go.

hi. I didn't end up try the tinnitool, I didn't want my Dad spending that sort of money when I didn't really belive in the treatment. I am 32, it started out of nowhere. The only thing I can think that some others have is that I had a pretty bad cold for a while just before. I started with a feeling that I had a seashell over my ea, then developed into a low buzz/hum. It always there, but I dont always notice it, I sleep with an earphone in one ear to clam the noise. How are you getting on?

Hi Thomas, thanks for your response.  I know how you feel about trying new stuff especially on the internet.  There are so many people out there who are trying to make money out of people like us who are desperate to get some relief from tinnitus.  No one knows for sure that tinnitool really works and I understand that you don't want your dad to spend that much of money on something where there is no guarantee will work.

Well mine started out of nowhere too but I was 4 months pregnant at the time so I know for sure that the pregnancy was what brought up the tinnitus on permanently.  I had T. before the pregnancy but it was so mild and I would only hear it when stressed and once I notice it and calm myself down it would disappear.  Now it is permanent with a different sound (like a car engine that is always on idle) and I also have the other sound I used to hear when stressed but this one comes and goes like before.

It is very distressing to go through this and sometimes I feel it is just too much to handle.  Tinnitus is becoming such a common thing but the experts seem to be taking forever to find a cure which is so frustrating.

I got mine for 10 months now and I am still battling so much everyday.  You are lucky that you don't always notice yours, mine is loud 24/7.

Are you taking any vitamins ?  What suggestions does you dad have besides trying out tinnitool.  I am seeing an audiologist who says I need to cut down certain foods as they seem to worsen T.  I am seeing her in two weeks time again as she suggested I try out a diet and exercise and if that does nothing then she will take the next step.  Sometimes I feel like all this is just a waste of my time and money.

What are you going to try to help with your T. Is there any improvements in yours or is it still the same.  Have you been for a hearing test.

      Take care - chat soon
