New Symptom

Yesterday I started to develop a new symptom. Both knees and hands have swollen and are stiff  my range of motion is limited. I have to say that this is really scaring me. 

Had anyone had this? 

Calling the dr first thing this morning.

    Hi Tabitha,

    I had a period during the virus with terrible joint pain in my knees and arms and got some weird bruising and stuff too. It really scared me also but it passed over in a few weeks - actually it was after that episode I started to feel like I was making real progress towards recovery. Really hoping this can be the same for you and hang in there, you will get through this.

      Thanks so much Craig. I went to the dr yesterday and he gave me a shot of steroids as my joints were very swollen. In a few hours it seemed to help the swelling come down and even made my rash go away. This morning the swelling is back a bit but not as bad in my knees.

      I’m hoping this is winding down soon too.

      Hey Tabitha,

      Really hoping that the injections have helped, there is nothing worse than pain it's an awful thing to go through - elevation and ice are good for swelling, hoping you are able to get rest too that's really important.

      Hope so much that this is winding down and remember there will be better days ahead. Thinking of you and hang in there!
