New Symptom - Thin Semen

I wrote a few weeks ago that I had a PSA jump from less than 1 to nearly 14 during my annual bloodwork last month. At that time I was unaware of symptoms, but I quickly developed an issue of very watery semen. I went back to doctor with that so he did a DRE which he reported was inflamed but no nodules (report said "boggy"). He said consistency changes are usually due to infection and almost seemed relieved after checking my prostate and this new symptom. He said it all points to infection. However, I've nearly completed 14 days on Bactrim and nothing has changed. Semen is still really watery.

I have a PSA recheck later this month, but I'm worried that lack of semen change is not a good sign. I've done a lot of Internet searching and can barely find mention of thin semen anywhere. Mainly by men who have always had the issue. It's not listed as a symptom of anything. Only thing I've found is PCA might make semen thicker or less but that could also be age for men at the time of dx. So, I'm hoping this is still all benign but am worried something crazy is going on and PSA will still be high. At late 30s my understanding is BPH is near impossible.

Anyone experienced this before?
