New symptoms

Hi,

I've had some prolapse symptoms for the last couple of years, I've a rectocele and probably a vaginal vault issue. I'm managing the conditions with pelvic floor exercises, Ovestin cream (as i also have atrophy!) and taking each day as it comes. i try not to heavy lift, and dont really get constipated as im vegetarian and i take a good quality (expensive) probiotic recommended by gastro Dr last year. ive now developed hemorrhoids which bleed (usually after ive been in an exercise bike which i use to help with my hip that i had replaced few years ago) . ive seen a Dr about them and got some cream. My question is are piles normal with pelvic prolapse? and anyone have any experience of them and what i can use to relieve the pain of them.

    Hi catrin

ive not heard piles are caused by prolapse.. Usually piles ocvur after many years of straining and sitting for lo ng periods.

Ive heard coconut oil is excellent for pi les and will help when you poo till healing has occurred.

Rectocele doesnt usually cause piles. Ive had anterior repAir and tvh in January due to prolapse. My back wall is mi!dly weak but nothing will be done as its only very mild. I too are a veggie but i do find pooing hard sometimes but i will never strain.

    Good
