I was just diagnosed with BV last week. I'm 40. Married for 10 years. Doctor said it could be from a variety of things. Change of soap, working out, tampons, intercourse. She put me on 7 days of antibiotics. I Googled BV and I'm reading awful things about it. Is this something that will be recurring now? Doctor said it is completely normal to get this. Just looking for some reassurance.

Hi Tamra, This could be the only time you have this... Think positively. Other products could be triggering this complaint such as shampoo.
