New to Cpap!

I have just been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and have had just 4 days on the CPAP machine. Obviously it's annoying but so far I'm finding it just about "doable" and I note the positive results. However, I have only got a nasal mask (the full-face is too clunky) and discovered that as I fall asleep my mouth opens, continuously waking me. I tried a Chin Strap but all the night-time head-gear and parphernalia made it difficult and I gave up on it switching the machine off to boot!. Last night I taped my mouth shut as an experiment, leaving a small breathe slit in the tape, and it appeared to work quite well. My question is: Is anyone else here using mouth taping and what type of tape is safest and best. All opinions (and cautions) very welcome. Thanks in advance. Also has anyone tried the Resmed Airfit F30i mask?

No problem with taping your mouth. It will help you get the therapy. No dangers.
