New to forum but not new to Fibromyalgia

I have had Fibromyalgia since aged 12 years old so sadly experienced in pain but I have only recently received a formal diagnosis. I have had various scans, MRI, tests and spent nearly two years with a Physio. The Physio did help, as did hydrotherapy. For a while I had the pain under control but now after many months of unavoidable stress I have a massive flare up of chronic daily pain throughout my body. I have severe pain in my neck which I just cannot relieve and daily headaches. I have been almost off medication for nearly two years but for the last few weeks I am taking pain relief and have been given a new prescription. I have now been prescribed Methocarbol. Does anyone have any advice on these tablets? I am hoping these will help.

    Hello dm,

I've not heard of that medication I'm afraid.  I'm unable to take many meds due to terrible side effects on my body.

Fibro feeds on stress as we all know, which is why it's best if possible,   to avoid it, but sometimes that's not possible as in your many months of unavoidable stress.

I'm sorry to hear you are in so much pain and really hope that the medication helps.
