New to forum, season depression, chest pain?

Hello guys I'm new to the forums and my name is Dejounte, I really hope this forum is active and can respond to threads unlike some other forums I've used, I hope to help others as well. What I'm here to talk about today is potential season depression. Last year around this same time I was having anxiety, I diagnosed myself with everything I could and used Google often, big mistake. However it only flared up in the summer when I had nothing else to think about and constantly thought I was dying soon. After the summer it slowly went away and it's been gone ever since. Not to mention I am 13 years old turning 14 soon and I know it seems young but I constantly think about things and worry about my body. Now all of a sudden I think it's starting to come back but today was the biggest sign and caused me to make an account on here to prevent my anxiety early. Today earlier or actually a few hours ago I began to feel a slight chest pain in the left side of my chest. It's on the left side near my heart so that always scares me, however this pain is very dull. It's very obvious the location of the pain, but the pain itself is very dull and kind of feels sharp every couple second, kind of hard to describe but I'm always freaking out. It's not that painful but now I'm anxious and not sure what it is and not sure if my anxiety could be making it worst.

I am 23 years old and I have been dealing with health anxiety for about two years I also constantly believe that I'm dying I get lots of physical symptoms from mine Anxiety which just make everything worse! Since you're so young do you talk to your parents about it do you see a therapist do you take medication

Yes I do consult with my parents but I have confidence I can get passed this, and I do not want to take medications, I don't have lots of panic attacks (however lately they have slowly started again) and also do not want to go to a therapist. I know what my issue is, all I need is constant reassurance and comfort, which my parents do provide however aren't home often with work, that's why I joined here. Thanks for your reply.

I'm so sorry you're having this high level of stress at such a young age but you're doing well by facing it head on. Anxiety symptoms can vary. Some do feel physical pain but I don't think it'll hurt to see a doctor and get an extensive physical just to rule out any conditions. I don't have health anxiety, just general anxiety but I never want to assume chest pains are nothing. When you do have the panic attacks, try breathing exercises. They have helped me tremendously.

I found this site today and found it to be helpful. You can also look into vitamins/supplements that may help prevent attacks. There's fish oil, magnesoum, vitamin D, vitamin B, vitamin C, and I'm sure others. If medication isn't an option for you, definitely explore more natural ways. But always consult with a physician first or a naturopath before taking these. They may recommend lab work for your liver or kidneys.

Thanks for the reply and help I'll look into this stuff, the chest pain is on and off now but not as sharp as the first time and not as consistent now I'm just feeling kind of lethargic.
