New to HS Please Help!

Hi all

I’m 29 year old male and just diagnosed but believe I’ve had HS for 2 years. I’ve currently got really armpit flare which has lasted 2 months (nodules come and go but are very deep and never drain). I am in Stage 1 - does anyone have any tips on what to cut from diets to help find remission? Or anything I can do to prevent it getting worse?

Please help!

Thanks

Simon

Hibiclense is good for cleaning it. Hot compresses can take down the swelling. Prevent deodorant or try natural ones to prevent extra clogging down there.  I’ve heard the night shade diet can help but I’ve personally never tried it, it’s pretty restricting.

I just got plastic surgery on my armpit after 4 years of HS.  They removed the entire follicle and scooped out all of the lumps and bacteria. This may work for you too!

    Hope that helps

For some unexplained reason I have been censored from recommending/naming a wonderful book on HS which has a practical, common sense, this-is-what-I- went-thru-to-put-my-HS into-remission approach. I'm sure you can find it if you use various words in Google search.
