New to Lichen Sclerosus

Hi everyone, new to LS and the forum. Was diagnosed just yesterday after 8 months of symptoms and a misdiagnosis of dermatitis, I am 25. I guess I am just freaking out after reading so many experiences on the forum! I've been prescribed Dermovate and an emollient. I have three small patches of whiter areas, one of which is raised. Is the raised area normal of LS and does anyone else have this? I'm also desperate to know whether these patches disappear with treatment and in between flare ups or if they will stay forever? So conscious when it comes to my sex life etc. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
