Hi,

So im new to this site & i was wondering if anyone else had these sort of symptoms before, ive only just started taking sertraline, been on them for about 5/6 days now, i constantly feel like im going to poop my pants. My poop is like a yellowish colour and my stomach is constantly gurgling & ive started to feel very spaced out at times.

Has anyone else had these types of symptoms or should i be ringing my gp?

Hi, I've had the same symptoms this week but on citalopram. I believe it is a common side effect, but always ring your doctor if you're worried. Also make sure you're drinking enough water to replenish. I'm now starting sertraline after a horrendous week of side effects on citalopram

oh no bless you, well fingers crossed it works for you.

Had some odd side effects earlier while sat on the toilet, seemed as though the floor was moving. Tried to go for a walk to my local shop and im sure people thought i was drunk. Im not completely sure if i was slirring my words but i felt a little spaced out.

TMI but my poop is now water.

yes im drinking lots of fluids.

my stomach feels like its going nuts gurggling away. Appetite is very small so not eating alot tbh.

I know those feelings! They're really scary, but I have to keep reminding myself it's just the medication and will pass. Well done for going on a little walk though! My stomach was the exact same last week. I've lost almost half a stone in a week because my appetite was so small!
