Hi, I am only on day 3 of taking this and I have feeling weird, I'm totally wired, my pupils are really dialated my body feels tired yet I feel awake, sweaty palms and unable to relax or sleep, feel a little nauseous. Is this normal, I am hoping this will subside after the week, My eyes are so dialted I am having trouble focusing at times? Has anyone else felt really wired and had similar side effects?

The side effects will fade, try to take a few days out ... Have time for yourself & give yourself some time to adjust to them ... They aren't nice are they
But they will diminish .. I had lots of side effects the first week ..
Feeling werid & couldn't look in the mirror because my pupils freaked me out, teeth grinding, stomach cramps, headaches were awful, feeling angry, sweating, palpitations, panic, needing sweet stuff to eat ( ive never been a sweet tooth )
The list is endless ...
I don't like feeling out of control coz the feeling stresses me out more... But I persevered .. Nearly 5 weeks next week
I still get anxiety with my side effects, I'm on 100mg .
All them side effects have gone now ...
I still have anxiety & worries ...
Don't dispair ... This site is awesome x here if you need to chat ... Hollie xx

One of my friends has been taking Sertraline for 5 months now and I've watched her have really positive results so I'm going to power through the side effects.
Would be good to see how you get on with the tables seen as we're kind of at the same stages

I really do not want to feel like this and likewise be a zombie in time and to solely rely on this drug to help. I appreciate some people need this type of medication but I would urge you to look into other options as often it is our bodies way of telling us they need certain things by affecting our mood, it is surprising really. Even the lack of potassium can affect us, and being a woman it can just be a mix of this and our hormones that are out of sync. There are lots of natural ways you can try that do not leave you feeling this bad. Unfortunately doctors do not even try and cover this element of health they just stick you on quite potent drugs which is really not treating the cause just the sympton.
I would look into it see links below, certainly if you are not happy taking sertraline. Good luck, with whatever you do, I will post up shortly on how I am going with this…… figers crossed.

Its start in the morning with terrible anxiety attacks, i keep building scaenarois in my head that do not excists. In the end i have to talk to a friend just to get it out the way then i calm down.
This is followed by a panic or dizzy spell,
Mid afternoon is the worst i go complety spaced on continually yawning and twitching is awful followed by sickness.
I feel worse than when i wasnt on them. my attacks were only minor.
My worst fear is i am a very active person i pedal 100-200 miles a week an am training for an event in the next few months.
The way i feel is terrible and last thing i want is this to interar with my training. Any suggestions. As i will glady stop these things if it will stop me training . There is no way i cud get on my bike and pedal 100 miles in this condition.
