Morning all, I am having panic attacks due to a bad neighbour and his constant noise and anti-social behavior…which has been me a nervous wreck. I am on 25mg Sertraline and only day 2, I am feeling extremely tired, headache and nauseas. However I did not sleep last night which increased my anxiety because it's when my neighbour is at his worst.

When do you all take your tablets? I've taken it this morning today, to try and get a better sleep tonight. I'm hoping this all kicks in before the week-end.

    Hi.

The headaches, tiredness etc are completely normal, I take my sertraline 150mg in the morning same time every day.

Have you tried to speak to your neighbour?

Unfortunately beyond the talking stage...very aggressive. We need to move, but it's sad as we fully own our property. However, if I could just stop having panic attacks and sleep...I may be able to cope. Thank you x

I've been on mine for 2 weeks and take them in the morning at the same time, 630am

I once slept in and took them after 9am and found I couldn't sleep I started feeling weird but now after 2 weeks feeling really sleepy

Bad neighbours are the worst I've been there it's horrible but stay strong

Hi Trish, can I ask what strength you are on? Is your anxiety better? I'm struggling slightly with the nausea and the headache but I am hoping they will disappear shortly.

Yes, insomnia is one of the initial side effects unfortunately. If you ask the doctor he may give you something to counteract the side effects, particularly if you’re not sleeping and that’s making things worse. It should subside after a couple of weeks, but if you up your dose it may happen again. I hope you get it sorted xx

Sarah I was wide awake but now I'm finding I need to nap during the day and I'm ready for bed by 8pm

Is this normal?? In saying that what's normal

When I switched to taking them in the morning I found that did make a difference to how I slept. I can’t remember if I needed to nap in the day, but that makes sense if you’re not sleeping at night. Hope that helps x

Just wanted to say, I'm on day 3 and I am feeling happier in general...more myself. Headache now disappeared and nausea not as bad. I'm going to hypnotherapy on Friday, to try and ease my nerves (week-ends are especially bad). Glad I started these tablets though. x
