    I understand how you feel.

I started having SVT in 2016. In the beginning< I was a wreck. I truly believe that a bad cold and cough virus at the time triggered mine.

I went on a beta blocker and my episodes did slow down.

But when I went off them cold turkey to have an attempted ablation done, I went into terrible withdrawals from them. Thats a long story........

So I stayed off them .

I have since gone on a calcium, channel blocker that has done nothing to help my episodes

Firstly, have you had testing to confirm the SVT?

And has your cardiologist confirmed to you that these are benign?

If this has all been confirmed to you, You really need to reach inside deep and tell yourself you are fine.

As I mentioned, in the beginning I was a wreck, but have since changed my thinking. Now when an episode comes, I do not freak out, but I get mad.

I immediately get to my maneuvers to get it stopped. My episodes last from 5 minutes up to over 6 hours.

There are so many maneuvers and techniques to get it to stop. I just keep doing until it stops.

I am blessed that my episodes usually only have a heart rate of about 140.

since this started back in 2016, I have had over 160 episodes. Sometimes 2 a month and other times, I can have 5 out of 7 days.

Yes, there are times, I choose to not do certain things for fear of an episode. One of those is fly, but I am working on that.

The whole thing sucks, but atleast it is not life threatning
