I started gabapentin as I have nerve pain from amputations. I feel so sleepy and I think I should come off it. I've only taken a few tablets so can I just stop it? I dont like the sound of this drug and dont want terrible side effects.

There's generally a 1-2 week window to stop this med without the likelihood of withdrawal. It's your choice and you may wish to talk to your doctor first. It's such a problematic drug that most people wish they had never started it. Doctors are giving it for many reasons it was never approved for.

I went back on it as cbd oil isnt touching my pain. It took my pain off and I slept well.
