Hi you will feel tired when you 1st start the medication , I felt drained for a couple of weeks. It does subside though , also when I upped my dose I felt tired again but it has now passed. I've been on sertraline since October last year & im currently on 100mg,

Hi I'm on them for general anxiety , I have definitely seen an improvement , took about a month after starting them to go back to work. I was off sick from the beginning of September to the end of November. I feel fine now & actually seem to handle stress a lot better aswell. I'm due a review in April to see how I'm doing but I'm not even considering dropping my dose because I don't feel ready. Are you seeing an improvement yet ?

I do see some improvements so far. But i am still going through ups and downs specially within a single day. Ill feel great and almost normal then i feel down and then up again. Its weird. But i feel like it is working and it is getting better everyday.

Thank you for your response . Do you know if agitation is a side affect as well? And has your symptoms gotten better on this medication ?

Agitation like jitteriness and anxiousness? If so yes its normal and horrid at first. The side effects i had were extremely heightened anxiety, worse panic attacks than i have ever felt in my life, headaches, upset stomach, burning skin sensation, sweaty palms and feet. At around 8 days most side effects wore down quite a bit. I still don't eat a lot at all so my appetite is low still. But 2 weeks after my increse i didn't feel many symptoms anymore. These last couple days ive had almost none and have been able to go out and enjoy my day. But from what ive read i should still expect some downs here and there.

I have been on it for 10 yrs. Just increased to 100mg from 50mg 6 weeks ago. I get the anxiety but it gets better the only downfall is I cant eat. Anyone experience this?

My appetite is ok although at the beginning it wasn't so that may be a side effect so should pass. I get the odd anxiety episode but find it easier to handle whilst I'm on the tablets
