New Urologist dismissive of squeezing PT muscles for sex

Hello. I have been squeezing my pt muscles since I was a teenager. For the past 2 decades, I have been doing this practice nearly every day. A couple days ago I had to go to urologist because I have been having trouble beginning to urinate. When the nurse attempted to put a catheter in me.... I kept uncontrolably squeezing those muscles and she could not get it in.... The the doctor went to do it and basically forced a catheter in there. I know this has to do with my PT muscles, but the doctor refuses to acknowledge that this has to do with me squeezing this muscle my entire life... I plead for someone to help give me information or show this doctor proof that I am not crazy (because he claims that this is psychological) I do not even know another person that knows about the PT muscles, let alone someone who has been doing it several times a day throughout their entire lives. Im still in SERIOUS pain from the last visit and do not know what to do. He already made incisions to dialate the area and he plans on doing more. I CANNOT allow this to happen if he is going to overlook the fact that this is natural. Please help

Any information would be GREATLY appreciated

Sorry for what you are going through. You need to find another doctor. I would not let him touch me. To me he seam like a no it all. Pelvic Floor Exercises are good for everyone. This doctor should know that.

I was in the hospital once and I know how you feel I had a nurse try to put a catheter in me and he could not get it in. I did not have your problem. I had a stricture. But when anyone puts anything in your penis you are going to tease up.

It does happen more then you know. You need to see someone else before to does damage.

If you need to talk I'm here for you. I'm 66 and I have 3 kids. Ken

Dan it could be difficult to put catheter in because your prostate is so enlarge that is seriously pressing on your urethra. You may suffer with chronic prostatitis

But Ken is right. U should consider changing your Consultant. He is not giving ya much information
