I am wondering when do I start to think this stuff may not be right for me. Any advise on dealing with anxiety. I am taking .1mg of colonidine for anxiety but that does not seem to really do much. Hello

i'm so sorry to hear you're suffering.

its really hard to live with initial side effects. Anxiety was a pretty serious issue for me when i was still in early stages as you're going through. Particularly, morning was awful. Then tremors started. i often. wanted to cry . So i can understand your situation very well. BUT those negative side effects will be gone. ANXIETY will be less. please be patient and stick to it.

i'm on FLU for 22 weeks now. Long journey, truly.

Thank you so much yu69395 for responding. I just seems so hard right now to get through a day and I am not sleeping very good either. It just doesnt seem right that a med that is suppose to help causes such issues I keep thinking something must be wrong but I keep hearing that this is kinda normal.

I will keeep going until I win this battle.

      Hello again

i hope you have some meds for sleep and anxiety. i had Mirtazapine 15mg for sleep and Hydroxyzine Pam 25mg that is antihistamine for anxiety till FLU will work. i'm not taking either of them anymore. Your brain is trying to adjust into med right now. it takes time. Please be patient. i know how much you're suffering. it was a torture for me....

I'm on day 29 of 10mg and am also dealing with the side effects, especially fear and anxiety. They say to give it at least 6 weeks, but Im going to try and stick it out as long as possible for it to work. i was on Lexapro for about 3 months but had to go off because all i was doing was managing the side effects, particularly anxiety. i was on .05 Lorizapam. Im still on Lorizapam and Hydroxyzine to help me get through these early weeks until my body has adjusted to the Flu. This is not an easy journey in the beginning. No one told me that when I was on Lexapro. After a lot of research and even finding this forum i understand so much more and its helping me to stick with it because theres hope for a normal life again. This is my first experience with anxiety and i wouldnt wish it on anyone. This is a good place to "talk it out".
