Hello everyone!
I have been newly diagnosed after 3-4 years of going round in circles to find out why I feel as I do.
It is a relief to know I'm not imagining my pain and my tiredness is nothing to do with mneopause.
I now have some control as it now has a name.

It's always good Karen, to have a name for something, however as to some control, in a lot of cases, mine also, it, the dreaded Fibro seems to be in control!
It absolutely thrives on stress and it's difficult not to get stressed when you are in pain and totally exhausted just getting out of bed.
I'm allergic to a lot of meds, hopefully you will have some control regarding that side of it. Being positive does help. Big gentle hugs. x

Hi Karen, I am recently going through health issues and my symptoms point to Fibro - but not to sure as it also could be Thyroid problems in which i am getting bloods for, I was wondering how do you get checked out for Firbomyalgia? And what were your symptoms if you don't mind me asking?

Same here with me Karen. In Menopause and with Fibromyalgia. Symptoms can be quite similar. I thought it my be the stress of the menopause that triggers the Fibromyalgia flares but think it's just coincidence.

We have a collection of symptoms that many people find hard to understand...find it hard myself at times tbh.
So I'm going to just try and live with it in the best way I can.
Good luck my lovely 😊
