Newly Diagnosed Genital Herpes

Posted , 7 users are following.

I was diagnosed with genital herpes yesterday (Monday), I have taken two days worth of Valtrex, taken many baking soda baths, countless ibprofen pills, and using a cool compress at night. I am still in UNBEARABLE pain. Pain so bad that when I pee, have a bm, walk, or sit down puts me tears or makes me want to throw up. Along with the pain I have a crazy foul oder and some slight discharge. I have a light period of course so it is not helping. I am reading up on Dermaplast and was planning on getting some tonight. Pleaseeeeeee help me. This pain feels like its never going to go away

Try using T-tree oil mixed with coconut oil. It helps the healing process and relieves the pain as well.

That why you use the coconut oil to dilute it. Its gives a cooling effect and help dry up the sores.

Pee in the shower drink fluids to dilute the urine or pee in a bucket salted water. Lignocaine gel if u can get some use on private parts. Lemon balm keep clean and dry just some of what others on this site have said

    Keep taking valtrex

you should keep taking valtrex following your gyn instruction. If herpes is too pain and burning, you can use Epsom salt. Soaking your body with Epsom salt and water may provide a pain relief. Besides, many peole use a antiviral cream, called prosurx to relieve herpes symptoms. You should also reduce stress and focus on healthy diet with high lysine. These lessen herpes symptoms and prevent further outbreaks

is the yellowish discharge with the foul odor normal?

This might be something else. Discharge from hsv is normally clear and odorless.

Yellowish discharge and foul odor are abnormal signs. These can signal of an infection such as trichomoniasis. You should meet your gyn to diagnose again.

Further to everyone else’s recommendations have a look at ‘Tucks medicated cooling pads’...they’re actually meant for hemorrhoids but I’ve had friends who have used them after giving birth and they are apparently very soothing if you wear a sanitary towel and then put a couple of the pads on top.

Also remember that it really will get better it’s just horrendous for those first few days! Xx

I got diagnosed with herpes about 2 months ago, it was the absolute worst pain ever I feel u, I took loads of iboprofian, kept the area clean, sat with ice packs in between my legs, I put loads of Vaseline on as well, I was in agony going for a pee so I pee'd in a shallow bath it takes the sting out a little bit, or after I done a pee in the toilet I had an ice pack ready to put on my flower, at night time I slept with nothing on and on top of my covers so nothing would irritate it, I also had to take time off work so if you can wear as little or as baggy clothes as possible, my blisters healed really fast with doing all that they healed in about 8 days ! It'll get better keep the chin up
