Newly diagnosed help please

hi all! I was in the ER December 2 and diagnosed with uncomplicated acute diverticulitis. I did 10 days of Bactrim and 7 days of flagyl plus a flagyl IV in the er. I felt great after the antibiotics for about a week. This weekend I messed up on the eating and have been feeling crappy since. No severe pain but twinge and almost a burning feeling in my abdomen. I reached out to my gastro Dr and she said it can be normal but I am freaking out. No fevers not vomiting just feely yucky. Ladies, my period is also due. could this be affecting me as well? it has only been 4 weeks today since I went to the er but I am freaking out that I messed myself up.

With Christmas in 2 days I am really feeling anxious 😟

    Hi, my Gi recommended to go to a medical nutritionist. the most helpful tip. I used to have constant pain. she gave me special diets to follow. I am pain free when I follow it.
