Newly Prescribed

Hi all

Well don't mind me  I'm just putting my name on a chair in here as I have just been prescribed this drug after trying citalopram that did me no use other than to cause terrible side effects.

Now, here I am trying another AD after 3 weeks of my doctors constant efforts to persuade me to try something different.

I am also on Propranolol and Zopiclone - you will hear me coming in with the loud rattle I make

Seems a little quiet in here

So if anyone has some good tips or advice while I'm getting used to these tablets I will be very grateful.

 Am I all alone here

    Oh well

Took my [b:9942b23137]first [/b:9942b23137]tablet yesterday morning and oh boy! Within an hour of taking it I felt so tired and had the most awful headache. Both the tiredness and headache lasted the whole day and evening until bedtime.

Slept all night (took zopiclone) Woke this morning feeling okay, although very reluctant to wake up and even more reluctant to get out of bed. I am not feeling anxious or 'low' just extremely chilled out and relaxed.

    Hi Melbi

Paroxetine is the same drug as Seroxat.

In my next posting to you I will enclose a website address about Seroxat.

Hi - rather than posting a url to an external website regarding Seroxat can I suggest that first of all you read the Patient UK leaflet on it - see https://patient.info/showdoc/30002093/

This leaflet was only updated and re-released in February this year so should be very up-to-date.
