Nexium Weaning Withdrawal Symptoms

Good Evening,

So I have been on Nexium now for quite a few years. 20mg to be exact. Two months ago when the ragweed allergies hit me pretty bad, the PND being caused from it made my acid reflux flare up pretty bad. I was told then to bump it up to 40mg, and it did help some. Well now two months later that the allergies have settled down I really don't want to be on the higher Nexium dose and it is actually agreed with my doctor that it would be good to see if I can get off of it entirely due to many recent positive lifestyle changes.

So on 11/11 I bumped down to 20mg daily. 11/11 and 11/12 I felt fine. 11/13 I started getting some weird muscle weakness in my legs that would come and go, back pains, and feeling flushed all over. Temp was elevated just a little above my usual, but not in fever levels and my BP is up to about 140/90(usually runs me around 120/80). Heartrate remains in my normal range. These are likely neither covid or flu, been vaxxed for both, and not too much exposure.

I have seen some posts, saying that some people have seen some similar effects from quitting it cold turkey....but are these effects too out of the ordinary for ramping down from 40 to 20?
