Nexplanon non-stop bleeding, extreme depression, what next?

So I’ve had the nexplanon implant for the last year & a half, and all throughout I’ve been having menstrual bleeding non-stop. I’ve spent so much on tampons & even bought a menstrual cup but that’s been too painful to insert. I had been on the depo-provera shot before but only for a couple months before deciding to switch to nexplanon because I’m horrible at remembering appointments. I had been depressed before the implant but somehow i reached new devastating lows, and since I’ve had the implant put in I’ve completely lost the ability to have an orgasm. I’ve dropped 30 lbs unintentionally & I’m now incredibly underweight, exhausted, and anxious. Sex with my boyfriend now seems like a joyless, excruciating chore and I dropped out of college. It feels like I have a split second of optimism every couple of weeks before immediately succumbing to listlessness or severe anxiety about everything. A year & a half ago all of this seemed impossible and I remember being excited about the world.

I really need some advice - could this be nexplanon side effects?? If so should I get it removed?? Do I need a period of recovery time before trying another birth control method?? I don’t know what to say other than I’m desperate for help

I had the implant for 3 years. First year no periods. Second year my period stated again and it was very bad and non stop. By the 3rd year it was pretty much months straight! You can ask your doctor to try and get 3 months worth of birth control pills to try and regulate your period. I gained a mass amount of weight, I was constantly tired no matter what. I had mad mood swings. It was just not good at all. I now have a Mirena IUD. I believe it was a week after I got my implant out that I got my OUS but I think that was a scheduling issue. I now don't have periods!

Oops that's suppose to say IUD not OUS. Stupid autocorrect!
