NHS gum clinics

People,

Has anyone used the GUM clinic in the Royal victoria hospital belfast northern ireland. I was up last Wednesday, and I am anxiously waiting results and was curious to know how long I would expect to wait if HIV or something that serious was found in my blood. It's all I can think about, ive already had to take time off work etc. I have heard two weeks quoted, and even 3 weeks. I am now past the 5th day and was thinking could I consider getting till the end of this week with no news as me being in the all clear?

All advice welcome, even just of your experiences at any nhs clinic.

    Get the wine out, because I called the clinic today and I am negative. So relieved. :-D

    Happy Days so pleased for you. It's a great feeling isnt it? It'll definitely make you a more careful man in the future! Look after yourself! Stay calm :-)

    Yeah me too if I am ever single again I will march my next partner to the GUM clinic for testing before it goes any further lol... You can laugh about it now though!

    I was very careless and that is a good attitude to have!, Don't trust people for there word its not worth the worry.
