hi, ive been on sertraline for about 9 months for anxiety, my mood is so much better but the night sweats are a joke! every night is hell ! ive stopped taking them for 5 days but the sweats are still the same, im now worried its something more serious! does anyone know how long they will last after stopping the medication ?

I had night sweats really bad on Sertraline, especially when i went over 50mg. When i tapered down from 100mg it was a good couple of weeks after getting back to 50mg before they subsided. It really IS the Sertraline, please dont worry that its something else. My bed was drenched every night and i had to sleep on towels. Im currently tapering off x

I went to from 100mg to 75mg for a month. then stayed on 50mg for 10 weeks (as I was going on holiday and didn't want to risk withdrawal symptoms), now I am down to 25mg. I plan to stay at 25mg for a month, then do 12.5mg for 3 weeks then come off! I have had withdrawal symptoms at every drop, but they are mild to moderate and last a couple of weeks

Not at the moment, I am anxious as hell lol, but it has only been a week since my drop from 50-25mg. I just don't want to be reliant on AD's 😃
