Night Sweats Anyone?

Hi,

I'm new here, and having been on Sertraline for the past four months (currently 100mg daily) I'm having very vivid dreams and awful night sweats. Is this fairly common, and will it go away?

I'm on 100 , started on 50. Total nine months. I still get vivid dreams but not night sweats. I do have hot flashes doing the day.

Hi, I'm having vivid dreams as well and sweats at night and sometimes during the day. I've been on S for 4 months at 50 mg.

I'm actually enjoying the dreams but not the sweats so much! LOVING my stress free calm life though! best wishes, -x kat

Just over 3 weeks in and wake up soaked....the first time I thought I peed myself! It doesn't happen every night. Was hoping that this side effect would eventually go away.

My dose was upped recently from 50mg to 100mg and I have been drenching the bed every single night with sweat! I wake up in the middle of the night and my sheet and duvet are soaked too! I didn't get this when I went on 50mg so scared its something else!

i am on Sert 75mg, and have noticed the night sweat side effect is worse than when i was on 50mg.

the 'vivid dreams' effect does not bother me at all, in fact, some of them are really interesting !!

does anyone know if the night sweats abate with time, i have been on Sert now approx 6 months .... ?
