Nightmares

I'm having really bad nitemare not every night but they are really frightening and leaving me scared and worried. Has anyone else suffered with this. I don't know if it's because I'm not sleeping great I am exhausted too I just need a good night's sleep xx

    Have you been on Ven for long? What dose? Do you use anything to help with sleep? I think all antidepressants cause vivid dreams. I either have an amazing dreams or nightmares too.

      I use empsom bath salts with lavender last night my dreams were horrific not every night thank goodness. I mediate too doctors gave me sleeping tablets which I'm trying not too use it's awful xx

      Sorry I'm about 8 weeks on venlafaxine twice a day 75mg.

    Me too Karen  I have them 3 or 4 times a week. I’ve been on venlafine for 17 yrs. and had these nitemares for about 5 years.  I’m sorry I don’t know the answer. I have reduced and increased my medication but sadly they are still there.
