Nine months with LALs - questions and some confusion

I had LAL lenses implanted during cataract surgery about 9 months ago, and I'm a little confused about some of the visual disturbances I've been experiencing. One opthalmologist said I had PCO about 3 months after surgery. However, a different opthalmologist who looked at my eyes under dilation more recently didn't detect it. I was surprised, since after reading descriptions of PCO, it seems similar to what I have going on. Perhaps others have had similar outcomes with their surgery.
(1) My eyes seem quite sensitive to different lighting conditions. On a bright sunny day, there is a lot of glare off any reflective surface. However, conversely, in low light conditions like a bedroom before sunrise, vision seems murky, like trying to see through a gray haze.
(2) Whenever I move my eye, the image I'm looking at wobbles or jiggles ever so slightly. This is particularly noticeable while reading a book. It's like the print is moving in and out relative to my eye. My most recent ophthalmologist didn't seem too concerned as she felt that the IOL was centered nicely in the capsule. I've read this could be movements of my iris that I'm seeing, as this muscle can be changed due to surgery. I'm wondering if this phenomenon is also due to a slight jiggle of the haptic in the capsule? That is, the IOL may be stable, but the lens moves as my eye moves because the haptic isn't firmly in the capsule?
(3) There seems to be a pseudo astigmatism, where there are lots of double or ghosted images of text in a lot of directions. I can sort of control this by using light to make these ghost images go away. However, in situations where I can't control or use light to my advantage, it's pretty noticeable and not something corrected through glasses.
(4)A lot of the visual disturbances are highly pronounced when my eyes are dilated. I see huge blobs around any light source and lot of very apparent ghosted or double images. I'm wondering if dilation exaggerates these phenomena because the edges of the IOL are not as optically smooth as a natural lens?

I am so sad to read about your LAL implant surgery. I am trying to decide which IOL to replace my cataracts. Are any of the issues any better? The light, ghosting, text moving?
Please let me know.

I am about 2.5 months post surgery with the LAL and have the same issues with jiggling text and blobby/cloudy vision in low light, along with something that seems like negative dysphotopsia. Like you, the doctors say the lens is centered and everything looks good. It is interfering with my ability to work on a computer all day, so i am considering a lens exchange Have you seen any improvement?

sounds like your eyes may be dry...maybe try something like Systane Hydration PF for artificial tears...try that for a few days ....just guessing but I recently had one eye done....and It helped me alot ...
