All going well
Walked on Dartmoor with new Leki poles, which really helped. Only ashort walk but climbed a Tor.
Also swam, breast stroke, in open air.....fab!
am keeping crutches for london weekend with lotsa tube trains, but they go back to hospital on Tuesday!

Yes, defo crutches not Leki poles in london then, thanks Ann - cos wasn't sure which to take. Need folk to move out of way/ give me a seat on train: very unusual behaviour for me but need to keep the healing going!
'Tor' I think means granite small hill, not sure. Anyway, it was called Kings Tor, and it felt like a step towards healing I was able to climb it, even it it was gentle, but felt tired after....

The Physio said breast was fine, and dangerspost hip op were greatly over-played...and breast is always best! That applies to feeding an infant or wild swimming!

I have climbed a small Tor in the past, don't know whether I'm bothered to try it again. Where did you go for your open air swim? I hope it was in the sun. I have just got the Wii out again and yesterday I did all the step exercises plus some of the balance ones. I did 45 minutes and felt very pleased with myself.
