Good idea to have crutches in London. I found then great when I went shopping as people move not so when I have my Leki's. I have not ventured up to Lobdon yet, I do go frequently to take photos. Going to Scotland in June

    Hi All,

Yes, defo crutches not Leki poles in london then, thanks Ann -  cos wasn't sure which to take. Need folk to move out of way/ give me a seat on train: very unusual behaviour for me but need to keep the healing going!

'Tor' I think means granite small hill, not sure. Anyway, it was called Kings Tor, and it felt like a step towards healing I was able to climb it, even it it was gentle, but felt tired after....

PS Yes, the pool was heated!

Hi mic, I was told that the breast stroke was out because of the leg movement, the problem is thats the only stroke I can do. confused

Sound like your doing really well, good for you, keep it up.

    Hi Bran,

The Physio said breast was fine, and dangerspost hip op were greatly  over-played...and breast is always best! That applies to feeding an infant or wild swimming!

    Cheers

    Hi Mic,

I have climbed a small Tor in the past, don't know whether I'm bothered to try it again.  Where did you go for your open air swim?  I hope it was in the sun.  I have just got the Wii out again and yesterday I did all the step exercises plus some of the balance ones.  I did 45 minutes and felt very pleased with myself.
