No advice or help from consultant

*I had a follow up appointment with my consultant this week. What a waste of time. He was arrogant and rude and just made me feel that it was my fault that I had this disease......so I have to get on with it, basically. There was no reassurance or explanation or advice. I just came away feeling that I was abandoned. I had obviously ruined his day simply by being there. If we can't get advice and help from a consultant where do we go? My GP is lovely and has been helpful but I have questions that I really had hoped the consultant could have answered.

How many people with DD in the UK are treated this way? I have reported this consultant mainly for his bad bedside manner but also because I went to him for help and came away feeling very let down.

Sorry for the rant but I wanted to share this experience.
