No appetite until later in day?

Almost 3 weeks on ven 75 & still barely have an appetite until later in day like dinner time or evening.  Is this common when starting up ?  Anyone else feel like this?

Hello barbara, yes, all of your symptoms are typical, after starting an anti depressant. After 3 weeks, your body has only just got used to taking ven. The ven hasnt had time to get going. Starting an anti depressant or increasing a dose, can cause lots of side effects, usually as a result of initially increasing your anxiety. Over the next 3 weeks, you should start to notice very small improvements, that come and go. After 6 weeks or so, the improvements should be stronger and happen more often. Ideally this carries on so that after 10 to 12 weeks, you think of yourself as having recovered. It can take longer than this, and for a few lucky ones, it can happen more quickly. This last week for me has been the best for me in a few years. This was at the start of week 16 for me on ven. Try not to think about the side effects or improvements. Concentrate on getting through the day as best as you can. Its days on ven under your belt that you need. Dont compare one day to another, as its impossible, and you will get dissapointed when you have a bad day. Instead, try to compare the week youve just had in general, to the previous one, if you can. Thats probably the shortest period you can notice an upward trend. Keep taking the ven, and try not to read too much into how you feel each day.

Hi Barbara, I have been on Ven 75 for a week and I am the same. I don’t feel hunger till later. I am also on Mirtazepine. How do you feel on Ven. Any improvements so far? Can you sleep?

I am sleeping better now but early on like 3-4 weeks ago I was only sleeping a few hrs at a time. But that was mostly due to anxiety because I was withdrawing from Prozac & just starting ven    Not doing too bad on ven but I’m also taking Klonopin for the anxiety that I’ve been feeling.
